Images Photography Group - Salon
Salon is an annual get-together of members (and their friends and families) for the sole purpose of celebrating the year that has gone and the work submitted to the club in that time. As the club year ends in March, the Salon event is scheduled for June/July.
Each year members will be invited to submit up to FIVE images* for judging. These images are then re-judges by external judges.
On the night, certificates are presented to the author of images that receive Honours and Acceptance. There are also awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the Intermediate and Advanced grades alike.
In keeping with the fun of the event there is also the Fish Award and spot prizes!

* As with all competitions there must be a level playing field for all entrants. So, the following rules apply:
- Images entered for the end of year Salon must have been entered in club competition during that competition year
- Images must be presented in the same medium (print or digital)
- Images cannot be altered in any way
