Images meets every second Tuesday of the month, between February and December, at 7:30pm. Meetings are held at Franklin: The Centre, 12 Massey Avenue, Pukekohe (above the library).
Images runs a two-monthly programme, the result of the varying needs and requests of members.
During one month we have an educational evening where teaching, exploring and pushing the boundaries is encouraged. The first half of the evening is a hands-on mini workshop on specific - a surprise on the night! Following a supper break, the evening continues as members are welcomed to comment (judge) the images that are submitted (a little daunting but a valuable teaching tool).
The alternative month is a more traditional competition evening whereby members are invited to submit two images (either set subject or open subject). We aim to have an invited guest of some standing in the photography community to provide their input and comments on the images to provide you with ideas to develop your skills and creativity.
